Peter Russell

I was invited to join the EuroCHRIE Board in 2015 by the then EuroCHRIE President Jan Meijerhof, as area consultant for the UK and then quickly promoted to EuroCHRIE Director of Industry while at the EuroCHRIE conference in Manchester. I enthusiastically accepted this and have been in this position since. I plan to stay in this role for as long as I deliver value to EuroCHRIE, which I know that I will do through all of my industry connections. My role requires me to work on delivering links between education and industry across EuroCHRIE, which is a major point of focus for us as an organisation. I really enjoy this role and I am in a great position to achieve this through my job as Operation Director for Russell Partnership Technology. In my role leading this company, I work with over 230 hospitality schools around the world and with the majority of major global hotel and hospitality companies.

I have been to every EuroCHRIE conference since 2012, every ICHRIE since 2011 and every AsiaPac CHRIE conference since 2014. I am firmly part of the CHRIE family and I believe the organisation is a premium place for knowledge sharing, networking and professional development.
