Welcome from Conference Chair

Dear Experience EuroCHRIE 2015 delegates,

I am delighted to welcome you to Manchester for the 33rd Annual EuroCHRIE Conference.

Over 220 delegates from over 25 countries come together to make the conference a memorable experience. Conference highlights include 115 research paper or poster presentations, 16 sponsors, three sponsored workshops, four world-class keynote speakers, nine award winners, four professional development workshops and three evening social events. Thank you for your contribution to the success of Experience EuroCHRIE 2015.

The conference theme is the ‘Hospitality, Tourism and Events Industries and the Experience Economy’. Manchester is the perfect destination for this theme as it is a city of extraordinary experiences given its rich history, vibrant present and thriving visitor economy. I hope that you experience all Manchester has to offer after the conference. Experience EuroCHRIE 2015 provides a forum for you to disseminate, and benefit from, the latest research and good practice in teaching, learning and assessment; an opportunity to discuss industry trends and build professional networks.

The Organising Committee at Manchester Metropolitan University has enjoyed planning Experience EuroCHRIE 2015. We now look forward to meeting you in person over the course of the next two and a half days.

I wish you a fruitful and enjoyable conference.
