The Organising Committee at Manchester Metropolitan University looks forward to welcoming you to Experience EuroCHRIE 2015.
You can expect an exciting and intellectually stimulating academic programme and the chance to reconnect with EuroCHRIE friends at social events. The conference has already been a big success – we are sold out!
Pre-conference events take place on Wednesday 14 October at Manchester Metropolitan University’s All Saints Campus. Sponsored workshops facilitated by the Total Simulator Company and by STR Global SHARE Center take place during the daytime, as well as the Board of Directors’ Meeting (by invitation).
Join us on Wednesday evening for canapés, drinks and networking. If you are new to EuroCHRIE, get to know other delegates at the First Time Attendees’ Reception (6pm). This is followed by the Welcome Reception (7pm), when Dr Kevin Nield – EuroCHRIE President – and I will welcome all delegates to the 33 rd annual EuroCHRIE conference. Make the short walk to Revolution bar for the after-party (8.30pm), where the Association of Dutch Hotel Management Schools is hosting the Holland House Reception.
The main conference begins on Thursday 15 October at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester city centre. Registration opens at 8am and the conference starts at 9am. The sponsored workshop by REDGlobal takes place at 1.30pm.
With four world-class keynote addresses – from Joseph Pine II, Andrea Torrance, Prof Kaye Chon and Steve Hood – and with over 110 research papers and posters across two and a half days, the conference provides the opportunity to share and discuss cutting edge research, the latest industry practice and their application to teaching and learning.
Enjoy Thursday’s networking event at Old Trafford Stadium, home of the world famous football club Manchester United, which includes a complimentary stadium tour (smart casual dress). On Friday, dress up to celebrate the achievements of this year’s Award Winners at the Gala Dinner at the Lowry Hotel (formal/smart dress).
