Oh What A Day – And What A Night!
3 amazing keynote speakers…thank you David, Gaurav and Steve for your thoughtful insights! I personally enjoyed the panel discussion and judging from the questions, I’m certain the delegates did as well. All 3 keynote speakers’ presentation can be found on the Conference website.
We note as well that the 3 workshops were extremely well attended and in particular, the “Charting the Future: Hospitality and Tourism Education in Africa” is a first and given the potential of Africa, this was certainly an eye opener for many of us!
Pauline and Stuart provided a good overview of THE-ICE’s accreditation process and given its rigor, international recognition and not to mention prestige, this is certainly something that institutions will find worthwhile.
Thanks to Susan, Elizabeth and Lea as well who shared from their hearts! The Round Table discussion has always been an opportunity for an honest and open discussion about the selection, role and expectations of Part-time faculty members.
The Futuristic NEON Night saw many of us dressed to shine!!! Who says academics do not know how to have fun?! We hope that the projection on the Burj Al Arab will remain with you for many years to come…
