Belinda Nwosu
Belinda Nwosu FIH is the Head of Department (Hospitality) at Wavecrest College of Hospitality, Lagos Nigeria. She has a Masters degree in Hospitality Management from the University of West London (formerly Thames Valley University) and Bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Lagos and Hospitality Management from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Belinda has worked actively in hospitality education with over 15 years of experience in workforce development with key competencies in curriculum development and training needs assessments. She has provided advisory services and training interventions to over 50 organisations across the country. Her engagement with the hospitality industry in Nigeria has included membership on the Hospitality & Tourism Curriculum Review Panel organised by the National Board for Technical Education and Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Branch of the Institute of Hospitality from 2010 to 2013.
Belinda has a passion for mentoring people in the development of personal skills related to image and presentation. Since 2004, she has developed and delivered etiquette seminars to business executives and students at the Pan African University, professional associations and youth forums. In addition, Belinda is a personal stylist trained at the NHJ Style Academy, London and has delivered several style presentations for different audiences including 1000 cadets at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna.
